In anticipation of the 2008 Olympics, we will be posting stories, links, etc, dealing with swimming leading up to the Beijing games.

            Kyle Owens swims his 200 IM prelims on Thursday, July 3.  The initial time line shows the event starting at approximately        1:10 PM Eastern time

At the Olympic Trials, Kyle has swum time trials in the 400 IM and 100 Backstroke.  His 400 IM was a bit slower than his best, but his 100 Backstroke was almost one second faster (57.61) and bettered the Olympic Trials qualifying time!
